Accounting Entities or AEs are methods of payment for users in the community. Freelancers use their AE’s as withdrawal method (also referred to as ‘payment method’) and clients use them as a mode of payment to pay for services rendered by their hired Freelancers (referring to as ‘billing method’).

User has a FL account:

    • FL will have one AE and may have multiple UPMs under that AE

User has a CL account:

    • CL will have one AE and may have multiple UPMs under that AE UNLESS Teams is turned on

    • With Teams turned on, CL may have multiple AEs setup to pay their FLs with different UPMs

User has a CL and FL account (similar if different combination of accounts):

    • User will have two AEs, one for their FL account and one for their CL account (or more on the CL side if Teams is turned on); they may also have multiple UPMs under each AE
    • If more than one AE on the account, AEs cannot be merged
    • Earnings as a FL cannot be used as payment on a CL account; both AEs need a valid UPM on file
    • Users cannot move funds as a FL to their agency AE or vice versa; however, users can work as an agency FL in their own agency so that the agency receives payment under the agency AE
