In addition to the HC article above, we may see some currency conversion questions from customers, specifically around:
(1) we may have FLs notice exchange rate amounts do not quite match what they would expect if they check outside of Upwork and/or
(2) we may have some FLs notice that once they withdraw their funds in local currency, the amount they receive is not exact compared to the estimated figures.
Similar to what we share with our CLs that set up local currency on their accounts, exchange rates between currencies change constantly, so the converted currency showing on Upwork’s platform is an estimate. This means that the rate during checkout may not be the exchange rate at the time they are paid.
