How To Add a New Custom Field To Invoices

Please note, any information added as a custom field will appear in the company’s invoice under “Additional Information” (towards the bottom of the invoice).

 

Via Account Settings

 

  • Select the Profile image in the right hand corner and select the appropriate company
  • Select Settings
  • In the Settings menu, select “Upwork Enterprise
  • Find the section “Custom Fields” and select its “Edit” button
  • On the “Custom Fields” page, click the “Create New Custom Field” button
  • The options below can be applied to your new custom field:
    • Field Name
    • Instructional Text (optional)
    • Field Type
    • Select All That Apply: Custom Field Options
      • Required to post job
      • Required to make offer
    • Select: Who should have permission to use this custom field?
      • All users in Friendly Company [STD DEMO]
      • All users in team(s)
        • This selection will give the option to select the appropriate team
  • Click “Save” to finish

 

   
How to Add Add New Email Domain
   
   

To whitelist an email domain, you will need to use the Enterprise Admin Tool. (Please note, this tool is extremely sensitive and an incorrect save can have significant impacts like the inability to perform actions, application of the wrong rates, etc. to Enterprise accounts.)

 

  • From the starting page, find the correct company by 
    • Scrolling list 
    • Or using the search box (enter the entity name or company reference)
  • On the company’s page, scroll to the section “Portal Page & Sign Up”
  • Under the header “New Team Member Registrations”, enter the email domain that all team members emails must contain

 

 

  • If applicable, select the “The above domains are exclusive” option
  • Select the “add” button 
    • Domain should appear in the list
  • Select the “save” button near the bottom of the page to complete process

 

Please note, exclusive domains are required for SSO enabled companies. They cannot be shared by other companies.
