Also, in the Site Terms of Use [link] we’ve clarified how visitors can use Upwork.com, whether or not they register for an account.

We’ve also added Mark Use Guidelines so you know how you may use “Upwork” and our other trademarks.

We’ve made our Terms of Service clearer and easier to navigate. Our updated Terms of Service will take effect on April 20, 2018 for new users and on May 20, 2018 for all other users.
We’ve reorganized the Terms of Service and added a table of contents to the updated User Agreement to make it easier to read. Other key updates include:

The Optional Service Contract Terms is now a standalone agreement (previously Section 8 of the User Agreement), which we think makes it easier to understand and use.

The Site Terms of Use better clarifies how visitors can use Upwork.com, whether or not they register for an account.

We’ve added Mark Use Guidelines so you know how you may use “Upwork” and our other trademarks - these are effective immediately.
