If a marketplace freelancer request - please refer them to their Certificate of Earnings, instead. If they do request more than 12-months of reporting, please follow this process here for EE review. Helpful verbiage that can be used (please customize as needed):
We are unable to provide formal employment verification. A freelancer can verify their income by obtaining a Certificate of Earnings. This document serves as an official record of earnings from Upwork and should satisfy verification needs.
If Enterprise / Payroll request - If working with an Ent CL and they are Payroll, please recommend they see their EOR contact. If not with Payroll, please also refer to Certificate of Earnings (can use same response above, if needed).
