INTERNAL ONLY

We provide freelancers on Upwork with a pre-packaged graphic to share on LinkedIn, triggered by their submission of feedback to a client who had closed a contract. This minimizes the effort required for social sharing, allows freelancers to share their positive feedback, and promises to bring impressions and traffic to Upwork.com. They can share from two points: via an end-of-contract pop-up only appears for any FL who is ending a contract with good feedback (5-star/(8/10 on private feedback)) and has a public FL profile OR the “Share feedback” button under the “Work history and feedback” section in their profile.

Here are some live examples:

Freelancer Experience

Freelancer navigates to the ‘Give Feedback’ page and enters perfect feedback.

A pop-up appears upon clicking the “Submit Feedback” button on the previous page, motivating the FL to also share on LinkedIn

LinkedIn.com Sharing Window opens up pre-populated with the graphic.

FL can optionally add test to their message before posting.

Post shared to LinkedIn.

FAQs

How do I get access to this feature?

Thanks for your question. You can share your client’s feedback in two ways. One, you can share the feedback to LinkedIn immediately after you've ended a successful contract (you’ll see a pop-up). Two, you can click the “Share feedback” button under the “Work history and feedback” section of your profile to share on LinkedIn, as well as Twitter and Facebook. Note: Your profile must be set to “public in order to do so.

I’m trying to add a client’s feedback to my Facebook and Twitter feed but I don’t see the option. What’s wrong? [[CLIENT IS USING END-OF-CONTRACT SHARE OPTION]]

Thanks for your question. If you share feedback when ending a successful contract it can only be shared on LinkedIn. If you’d like to share the feedback on Facebook and Twitter, go to your profile and click “Share feedback” from the “Work history and feedback” section. From there you’ll be able to share on LinkedIn too. Note: Your profile must be set to “public” in order to share feedback.

I closed the modal/pop-up to share my feedback on LinkedIn/Facebook/Twitter. How do I get back to it?

Thanks for reaching out. You can share client feedback anytime by clicking the “Share feedback” button under the “Work history and feedback” section of your profile. Note: Your profile must be set to “public” in order to share feedback.

I agreed to add this feedback/or accidentally added but I want it removed. How do I do this?

Thanks for your question. You can simply go to your social media profile where it was posted (LinkedIn, Facebook, Twitter) and delete the post from there.

I don’t see this information on Upwork’s Linkedin/Facebook/Twitter feed? Why not?

Thanks for reaching out. When you share your client’s feedback you are posting it on your own profile, not an Upwork page. This feature gives you an easy way to share with your business and social network the great feedback you’ve received.
