If a user contacts us to be removed from emails, take the appropriate steps below:

System Emails
- Suggest user follow steps in Manage my Email Notifications page.

Promotion/Marketing Emails
- Customer can click unsubscribe at the bottom of the email, and if the customer is unable to click unsubscribe at the time, please add their details here - Manual Unsubscribe List. Share with the customer their info has been sent over and in a week, they should no longer see emails. If at any time they’d like to resubscribe, they can let us know.
- The Manual Unsubscribe List will automatically unsubscribe anyone added to it every Monday. The word BRAZE will populate in Column I of the sheet once completed; that line item + anything above it has officially been unsubscribed at that time.

Upwork Events
- Users who would like to unsubscribe or stop receiving invitations to Upwork events and/or notifications, please add them directly here - Manual Unsubscribe List. Please do not send request to Katrin (or her team) or ping any Slack room related to it.
In June/July, Marketing launched a new campaign/promotion of direct mailings to specific areas of the US. More mailings are to come in the future!
If a user requests to be removed from our physical mailing list:
- Use this form manually entering the details of the user and submit.
- Add an internal note in the ticket and solve.
